Co-curricular Activities at GPS
At GPS, Co-curricular activities are an integral part of the curriculum. They provide educational activities to the students that help in broadening their experiences.
These activities are conducted during the normal school working hours and every child is encouraged to participate in any of the activities for which they show interest. Additional inputs will be provided after school hours for those children who show a special aptitude and ability for a particular activity.

Art, at GPS, is seen as a powerful and effective medium for self-exploration, self-expression and a tuning-in to the inner self. In performing arts, theatre and music assume special significance.
Music, at GPS, is a celebration of a wide range of musical instruments and styles found around the world. Children are exposed to the finer nuances of a variety of musical sounds and rhythms. Each child is encouraged to sing, play and participate in a range of music-related activities to discover the “magic of music” and the “musician” within themselves.
Performing arts also include dance. Talented resource persons and teachers are on board to teach a variety of dance forms. Fine arts include drawing, painting and clay modelling. Students are encouraged to experiment with a variety of media.
Designated activity areas provide space for children to utilize the available facilities several times during the week.
